This is what I had for dinner: pasta alfredo with steamed zuchinni and fresh tomatos (fresh being relative). I've had both the tomato and zucchini in my fridge for a month. I'm amazed they're still good.
Movies: I saw Zombieland yesterday. It was pretty damn awesome. What I like about it is that it doesn't try to be anything more than what it is. I adore Woody Harrelson so seeing him as a snake skin wearing badass zombie killer in search of a twinkie made me very happy.
I'm taking this class about Southeast Asian history (which I swear is being taught at a graduate level because it is pretty damn hard) and next thursday my professor will be gone. She's presenting a paper at a conference. But anyways we're going to be watching The Lover. It's about a young French girl who has this sexual relationship with an older Chinese man in colonial Vietnam. O_O Now I have seen this movie a few times and have even read the book. It is not a movie I want to be watching with 30 other people. I'm a pretty liberal woman but there are graphic sex scenes in that thing and I will be seriously uncomfortable watching that with other people. It's a beautiful and interesting film though.
