Mini Life Update

So I haven't actually gotten off my metaphorical ass to do any Period Piece Days. I will. I swear. I was just finishing A Feast for Crows. I have a few days planned out already. First will be a medley of E. M. Forster books and then Elizabeth Gaskell. So look for that over the weekend.

And now for something random. I am embarking on yet another weight loss journey. This time it will be the take shape for life program using medifast meals. It will be interesting to say the least. I'm currently waiting for the food to arrive and I'm not a very patient person. Also I'm not a really mentally sound person so all I can think of are the negative thoughts about losing weight. Mostly that this will be yet another attempt I will fail. Or that I'll go back to being seriously self conscious like I was when I was thin. I didn't actually gain weight until the end of high school/college. But I've always had severe body issues. I hit my senior year of high school and just stopped caring, and not in a good way.

So my therapist made me write a list of all the positive reasons to lose weight. Once I got started I couldn't stop. So here are 57 reasons I want to lose weight. That definitely outweighs my few negative thoughts.
